How do you explain when things don’t go as you plan? Or, how do you explain when organisations or individuals are able to achieve things that seem to defy all of the assumptions? For example, why is Apple so innovative? Year after year they are more innovative than all their competitors. In the industry, they have access to the same talent, agencies, consultants and media. Yet, how is it that they seem to be able to offer something different? As it turns out, there is a pattern in all the great leaders and organisations in the world – whether it is the world renowned organisation such as Apple, or Barack Obama, they all think, act and communicate the same way which is the complete opposite of everyone else.
